Clinical Speech Therapy
Our clinic is located inside a traditional medical building. We aim to offer a comfortable environment for both children and adults, the waiting area is divided into a play area, a TV area and a magazine area, and water and snacks are provided. Each speech therapist has a private room filled with a variety of toys and training tools to provide personalised one-on-one services or group sessions, allowing each child to learn through an engaging and enjoyable experience. We welcome you to inquire about our clinical speech therapy services in more detail.
Guidelines for Assessment and Treatment Appointments
About Scheduling an Appointment:
- An appointment is required for all assessment and treatment services.
- If an appointment is not confirmed or the client fails to attend the scheduled service on two occasions, the appointment will be considered cancelled. If the client wishes to make an appointment again, they will need to rejoin the waitlist.
- Clients must be assessed by one of our speech therapists to fully understand their condition before commencing any treatment.
- The client must make the required payment as a reservation fee prior to the assessment or treatment session. If the client needs to reschedule the appointment, they must notify our staff at least 48 hours before the original scheduled time. Failure to provide adequate notice or absence without a valid reason will result in the cancellation of the session, and no further notification will be provided.
About Attending a Session:
- To achieve the best treatment outcomes, parents or caregivers are required to accompany the children during the session.
- All individuals entering the premises of the clinic are required to wear a face mask, except when necessary for the therapy.
About Class Arrangements during Typhoons and Rainstorm Warnings:
- Typhoon Signal No. 1 and Yellow Rainstorm Warning: sessions will proceed as scheduled, and the clinic will continue to provide services.
- Typhoon Signal No. 3 and Red Rainstorm Warning: sessions will proceed as scheduled, and the clinic will continue to provide services.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is announced and expected within 2 hours: All sessions at the clinic will be cancelled and rescheduled, and the clinic will be closed temporarily.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning cancelation is announced in the morning and expected within 2 hours: The clinic will resume service from 2 pm.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning cancellation is announced after 2 pm, all sessions at the clinic will be cancelled.
About Class Arrangement due to Personal Reason or Illness
- If a client is unable to attend a session due to illness, they should contact the clinic as soon as possible. The client must submit a medical certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner, including the date of the scheduled session. Failure to provide the medical certificate will result in the session being counted as absent. There will be no make-up session provided and paid fees will not be refunded.
- If a client needs to reschedule a session due to personal reasons, they must notify the clinic staff at least 48 hours before the scheduled session and arrange for a make-up session. Each client is allowed one personal leave rescheduling per month. There will be no make-up sessions for any additional rescheduling requests.
- The clinic reserves the right to make the final decisions regarding service arrangements.
